Opening board and landmarks

This board steps outward to the right halfway down. A long yellow striped column divides the broad left chamber from a slim right annex, and a yellow locked horizontal collector crosses the left chamber. There are white horizontal pieces near the lower left, a red strip along the bottom, green pieces in several shapes, and a brown upright near the lower-right recess. The video is much slower than the short clear for level 197.

How to beat level 198 of Sand Blocks?

1. Video 0:00

   Work the top opening beneath the feed. The green upright moves up and the yellow upright drops into the main chamber. Keep the locked yellow horizontal collector in view as smaller green pieces begin to clear.

2. Video 0:18

   Follow the green pieces in the left chamber while the striped divider remains standing. Around thirty-six seconds the white horizontal target is near the left wall and the large lower green upright moves through the central space.

3. Video 0:42

   Move the remaining green upright down toward the red bottom strip. The yellow locked collector shifts lower during this phase, while the right annex remains packed with its small yellow and blue targets.

4. Video 1:00

   Continue through the white-and-yellow sequence. Between sixty and seventy-eight seconds the locked yellow bar rises again and then moves down; compare its position rather than assuming it is permanently fixed.

5. Video 1:24

   Use the now open upper chamber for the remaining white and small dark pieces. By ninety-six seconds much of the left chamber is empty and a short white horizontal piece reaches across toward the right annex.

6. Video 1:42

   Clear the last small yellow pieces and the remaining blue/red pieces around the divider. At one hundred fourteen seconds the striped column is reduced to its bottom section and a brown upright is still in the right half.

7. Video 2:00

   Finish the final green and brown targets as the locked yellow bar moves toward the right-hand opening. The completion overlay appears around one hundred thirty-two seconds with approximately eleven seconds still on the displayed clock.

Three obstacles to keep in view

• Do not confuse the striped divider with a normal yellow collector; it persists through most of the recording.
• The right-hand annex still contains targets after the left chamber looks mostly empty.
• The locked yellow bar changes position several times, so a single screenshot is not a fixed board map.
